The First SIAM-Quantum Nexus 2026, a groundbreaking symposium designed to establish a sustainable, inclusive, and high-impact quantum technology community in Thailand. This is not just an event—it's the launchpad for a new digital platform and an enduring knowledge hub. It will be started at the year of celebration on 45th Anniversary of Quantum Information Technology (the Physics of Computation Conference: 1981 - 2026) and 80th anniversary of IEEE Computer society.

We are bridging the gap between foundational physics and practical engineering, empowering key professionals and the public to become catalysts for the global quantum era. Your participation will help reduce the digital divide and build a resilient ICT ecosystem for a better future. Join us onsite events (workshops, seminars, gala dinner, DEMOs & exhibitions) at the national science week (August) & IEEE AGM meeting (November) and bi-monthly online lectures.

การสร้างชุมชนเทคโนโลยีควอนตัมที่ยั่งยืนและครอบคลุม

ในยุคที่เทคโนโลยีควอนตัมกำลังกลายเป็นรากฐานสำคัญของการพัฒนาดิจิทัล เศรษฐกิจ และสังคมทั่วโลก ประเทศไทยจำเป็นต้องสร้างชุมชนความรู้ที่ยั่งยืนและครอบคลุม เพื่อลดช่องว่างทางดิจิทัล ส่งเสริมการถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้จากพื้นฐานฟิสิกส์สู่การประยุกต์ทางวิศวกรรม และเตรียมความพร้อมให้ประชาชน นักวิจัย และผู้กำหนดนโยบายสามารถมีส่วนร่วมอย่างมีวิจารณญาณ

จากบทเรียนการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีในอดีต พบว่าปัญหาหลักมิใช่เพียงศักยภาพทางเทคนิค แต่รวมถึงธรรมาภิบาล การสื่อสารวิทยาศาสตร์ที่ถูกต้อง และการเข้าถึงความรู้ที่เท่าเทียม โครงการ SIAM-Quantum Nexus 2026 จึงจัดขึ้นเพื่อเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของแพลตฟอร์มดิจิทัลและศูนย์กลางความรู้ควอนตัม โดยมุ่งเน้น 4 แกนหลัก: Quantum Communications, Quantum Sensing, Quantum Computing, และ Authentic Science Communication เพื่อสร้างภูมิคุ้มกันทางความรู้ ป้องกันข้อมูลคลาดเคลื่อน และส่งเสริมการนวัตกรรมที่รับผิดชอบต่อสังคม

๑) เพื่อสร้างชุมชนเทคโนโลยีควอนตัมที่ยั่งยืนผ่านการฝึกอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ
๒) เพื่อสร้างความสมดุลระหว่าง “ความก้าวหน้าทางเทคโนโลยี” กับ “ความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม”
๓) เพื่อพัฒนาผู้เข้าร่วมให้เป็นทั้ง ผู้ใช้เทคโนโลยีอย่างรู้เท่าทัน และ พลเมืองวิทยาศาสตร์ที่มีคุณธรรม
๔) เพื่อเป็นต้นแบบการจัดกิจกรรมฝึกอบรมด้านเทคโนโลยีขั้นสูงที่ตรวจสอบได้ โปร่งใส และขยายผลได้ในระยะยาว

About the Symposium

SIAM-Quantum Nexus 2026 is a vibrant platform to empower Thailand’s quantum ecosystem. Through seminars, workshops, and digital tools, we aim to:

Build a Quantum Community Hub: Create a sustainable, inclusive network for quantum technology enthusiasts, professionals, and policymakers.
Democratize Learning: Develop open-access digital platforms and toolkits to make quantum education accessible to all.
Bridge Science and Engineering: Connect theoretical physics with practical applications to drive innovation.
Promote Trusted Science Communication: Foster reliable, inclusive knowledge-sharing to counter misinformation and inspire future generations.
Prepare for Global Quantum Integration: Equip Thailand’s workforce and society for the global quantum era.

This symposium will feature interactive workshops, industry demos, and a gala dinner celebrating 100 global and 50 Thai quantum milestones, ensuring a legacy of innovation and education.
